Guided Surgery Accessory
A purpose-built drill stopper that locks onto the drill shank to control implant osteotomy position in all three dimensions.
The Crown Down 3D drill stopper attaches securely to the drill shank to help control drill position in all three dimensions during guided implant surgery. It works with the Crown Down 2-drill protocol and standard surgical guides for predictable 3-dimensional control during osteotomy preparation. Each Crown Down kit ships with two stoppers (#1 and #2); additional and replacement stoppers are available individually in 8, 10, and 12 mm.
Predictable depth and position control during fully guided osteotomy preparation, paired with surgical guides.
Add stoppers to the Crown Down 2-drill kit when a specific case calls for guided control on top of the standard freehand workflow.
Technical Drawing

It attaches securely to the drill shank and helps control drill position in all three dimensions during guided implant surgery, supporting predictable depth and position during osteotomy preparation.
The 3D stoppers are designed to fit the Crown Down implant drilling kits in both 15 mm and 20 mm drill lengths, across the standard Ø 2.75 mm to Ø 6.0 mm drill diameters.
Crown Down 3D stoppers are available in 8 mm (CD-STP-L008), 10 mm (CD-STP-L010), and 12 mm (CD-STP-L012) working depths. Inner tube diameter is Ø 5.5 mm and tube height is 4.0 mm.
Crown Down 3D stoppers are $95.00 USD each. Practice and volume pricing are available on request.
No. The Crown Down 2-drill osteotomy protocol works for both freehand and guided implant surgery. Stoppers are an optional accessory for guided cases that require strict depth and 3-axis position control.
