Drill length guide

When 15 mm is the right drill length.

The 15 mm kit is the daily-driver length for general implant placement. For most posterior maxillary and mandibular cases, 15 mm of working depth comfortably covers the implant apex with room to spare on the drill shoulder and the stopper. If your case mix is primarily single and short-span implants, this is the kit that earns its place on the tray.

If your practice runs deep guided cases or All-on-X rehabilitations regularly, the 20 mm kit covers those scenarios. Otherwise, the 15 mm kit handles the vast majority of routine implant placements with the same 2-drill protocol and the same solid tungsten carbide drills.
